Standard Clio cd player..

Alright, this is the type of question some of you might think.. ''have a look yourself you lazy s***!!'' haha but i have my reasons..

I sold my old sub with my old car and am startin to regret it now so im thinking of investin in a new sub but im not sure whether the standard cd player in the clio's have the jack for the sub connection.. would anyone happen to know? or would i have to buy myself a new uprated cd player?

As far as im aware no standard ones have the RCA out for a sub, unless maybe you have a very new clio, what years your car?

Na, its not very new lol its an 04 plate! I dont know if i want to warrent spendin an extra 100quid on a new CD player!

I doubt it will have RCA outputs on the back then, why not just get some line level convertors and cut into the rear speaker wire for a signal for the amp? Will only cost about £10odd but won't be the best of quality.

Its an idea but thers no point in doin it if the quality isnt there! cheers for the help anyway!

Yeah, stanard speakers will be better quality with a new Headunit anyway, so best off getting a new one with Pre-outs for the amp too
