How to copy highlighted text on MSN Messenger screen ?

I've highlighted some text on MSN Messenger (a friends update message) but it won't allow me to copy it ? Why ? When I right click it just says 'use the default scene'

What's the point of Ctrl + W willdot? I know it'll close an individual tab as opposed to the whole browser, but so will Ctrl + f4, and then Alt + f4 closes the whole window? So I so no point in Ctrl + W?

For speed I use it as my fingers aren't long enough to use alt + F4 with one hand

Start Key + D is my fave and Start key + E too.

As for mice...my magic mouse has loads of different things assigned to it

start + d hides everything, pressing it again will bring everything back up exactly like it was before.

start + m minimizes everything but doesnt restore it, and you will need to click on each individual item on the start bar to restore it.
