plans.... strip, harness, 200bhp and some track action!

Add "get a proper steering wheel" to the list of plans. Trust me a 320mm wheel makes a massive improvement over the IVECO spec one that comes as standard.

200bhp or close too... full exhaust, filter, headwork, cams, custom remap or standalone ... im new to clios so unsure wat gains ill get

To be honest your probably looking at 190odd from that. ITB's will get you 200bhp out of the box.

Looking for a set of harnesses if anyone has any decent ones second hand £££ waiting also possibly a decent backbox ? might get this new tho.

Full exaust system will be better then just a new backbox mate! :). Looks Awsome and plans sound good! :).

yeah i will be getting a full system eventually, backbox, filter and harnesses first on the list tho lol

If I couldnt get some cheap cams I would just do inlets, ptfe inlet gaskets, exhaust, panel filter and custom map from RS tuning.

Strip it out, put some propper bucket seats in as the trendlines dont offer the best lower support, add a whiteline rear anti roll bar and either coilovers or mark fish springs and adjustable rear koni's.

Brakes: Tough one for me, I quite enjoyed my Brembo discs and ds2500 pads, however I've been thinking of switching to pagid blue's as my pads have finally given up the ghost.

Looks good mate, i'm a massive fan of the Trophy's. Hate those standard 182 exhausts though! :(

Oh and after all that work the Trophy will make around 182bhp. :o

I've always stood by and said that if a 182 had its propper power they'd be very capable cars and would probably fair up better to CTR's etc

I like this idea lol, anyone on here actually got nitroes on the 1*2's ?

I am seriously considering it, because the lack of straight line speed is the Clios only real downside on track, if only to give you a chance to get away from the evos/subarus/caterhams/elises etc. A 50bhp install is about £500 with a bottle refill being about £40, far better value than ITB's/turbos/superchargers etc. 230bhp at a touch of a button should be more than enough I reckon

Not happy with the rear mounting points... any ideas where else they can be attached.

also will be getting a carbon fibre rear brace tomorow.

Hebburn - next to south shields...

also does anyone know if you can get bars welded in for harnesses without having a roll cage ?? or wud that just be daft ?

just picked up my carbon fibre rear brace and some silicon piping for my air filter... next on the cars is the exhaust.

ill update pictures this saturday after a major clean.

Ah you're the lad who used to have the silver vts with anthracite wheels? I bought a power steering pump off you a few years back for my amazon green vts. What happened to the astra gsi you had?
