172 cup Driveshafts

Anyone had any experience with these driveshafts??

Only reason i ask is

I have looked else where and the drivers side comes back at £114, when i call europarts up they said that they didnt know what i was on about and couldnt find driveshafts on their system for a clio 172

I thought that the Pass side would have been the cheap one and the drivers side be the expensive one?? Always was with my 106 :S

Any help would be much appreciated

IIRC all the 1*2 models have different shafts 172 ph1, 172 ph2, 172 cup, 182.

i think there 240 ish new from renault mate, they dont have exchange ones anymore, and the cheaper ones are s**t quality

cheapy ones don't fit properly

Ah this may cause a problem then?The driveshaft that was on the car looks like the one in the link

I have an 03 172 hub and not a 03 172 cup hub on my 172 cup

What is the major difference between them all?

the main Renault trade hub for the midlands won't sell them for saftey reasons

Tony, they're not available in cup fitment as a refurb/exchange non genuine shafts are too short

I double checked this Fred after you said last time,but they assured me that it wasn't an issue any more
