Well a genuine cambelt kit is about £140, dephaser is circa £160 now and end caps are £13ish, so thats £313 for those... Genuine waterpump is about £73-75, so about £390 for genuine everything.

Although, if you got a Gates cambelt kit instead (pretty much exactly the same considering they make the belts for Renault) which is £110, and a non genuine waterpump for around £25, you'd be looking at £310 for all the parts...

Aux belt kit is about £130 on top.

Those prices above are not set in stone lol, everyone on here has a set price that these things cost for some reason, would love to know were everyone got the £160 for dephaser...
I paid 493 so only £100 more for
Cambelt kit
Auxvelt kite
Dephaser
Water pump
Camcaps
Crank bolt
All gen ren parts from a dealer, so ur price isnt that good mate

They pretty much are considering I purchased the said items from Renault St Helens a week ago, TBH its just a matter of dealers ripping the public off because they will just pay any price..

As for the non-gen parts, they can be had anywhere (and even cheaper) for those parts. Many traders sell them for that on here..

Yea ur right about that, my simple question " how much discount you guna give me though" turned into the price being dropped by £100! Just goes to show you dont ask you dont get, to many people are scared to askfor discount! I ask for it everywere i go because quite simply.....why not

tbh for the cambelt kit i would cut out renault and get the gates kit from my local motor factor. same thing just a different box.

The Gates kit got mentioned but i said i want genuine parts for that never thought it was, all but in name!

Local Renault dealer wanted £175.30 for the cambelt kit!

Yea just make sure you get a renault specialist to do the work with the parts and all is good

P.s obviously the price of the parts matter aswell, why pay more than you have to....which is what i thought this thread was relating to
