ok help with washer bottle please

hey guys, i have had my 172 for about 6 months and since ive had it the washer bottle will empty in less than a day i have looked at taking it out to repair/replace but i cant figure it out and there is no way im gonna pay garage fees to get it fixed..... ive resorted to using a spray bottle when my windows are dirty:dead:

Hi Mate

You need to remove the windscreen wipers, then remove the black trays that sit below the windscreen. The Washer bottle is on the passenger side and I think it's one or two screws.

They crack fairly easily I think, I've been through two in 3 years.

Forgot to mention that, did mine at the weekend and last night, without a wiper puller, tested my calm to say the least!

hmmmm i dont have any think I will give it a go when i get home from work and try to get it done before it goes dark lol!

are u ure its not the washer jets. fill it full and check after a while if theres drips under the headlights or a puddle on the floor. thats what caused mine, got new ones from renault and they have gon again

job done.... no pullers used, but i hit the right bolt one to many times and ruined the thread.... oooops it was a job for the grinder, steady hand and a new nut! got there in the end tho!:star:
