Speakers on parcel shelf

  Clio Campus
Im thinking of getting some speakers on my parcel shelf, any opinions/best way of fitting and then wiring it all up?
Cheers

Go to halfrauds, pick them, book them to be fitted, cut out the holes yourself, once they've been fitted neatly fold a black scarf over the speakers and parcel shelf. Job done :p

Or buy some components for the front where you will be sitting. Better sound quality all round

Or make your own from abit of MDF, (make sure you get the back boot plastic shape in) carpet it and pop your speakers underneath.
Job's a good en'

Where are you OP ? I've got a pair of redundant 6x9s which need rehoming cheap. JBL P-93s... let me know.

One has slight damage on the connector but nothing a bit of solder can't resolve.

Do this.

Wouldn't recommend anyone put speakers on a parcel shelf unless they like the sound of rattling. Worse place for speakers ever (unless you're going full custom build/install).

Especially that uber thin Clio rear shelf! Pointless.

Surprised there's been no 6x9 bashing yet, usually what happens

I have speakers up front and rears are re wired to vibe 6x9s at the back... did it 3 years ago when i passed my test, was told not to bother as they would sound s**t... in reality they dont sound amazing by any standards but they do the job...

Im doing to ditch them soon and get components up front and some good bass speakers for the back.
