Struggling to remover rear disc

I'm changing my rear discs today following the guide in the guides section.

However my rear discs are proving to be a royal PITA to get off. They just weren't budging.

I managed to get the right one off and the pin is absolutely bone dry. The left is having none of it. Spend about half an hour trying all manner of things to get it to shift.

Suggestions/techniques welcome!

smack it off, the bearing will fall apart and leave part of it on the stub which you'll then have to cut off

I've been smacking the **** out of it. Guess I'll keep going then. The bearing is giving some play but doesn't seem to want to give much more.

If your near a Renault dealership, ask if you can borrow a puller. I had real issues with mine and no matter how hard I hit it the piece of shiz wouldn't budge!
