BMC CDA Intake Systems for 1.5?

I have found this BMC CDA Intake System for a 1.5 clio, I was wondering would this fit my 1.5 Megane as all I could find for it is a panel filter?

£170 for no gains? standard airbox is best its a diesel ffs!! will sound w**k with a filter on it

I was thinking of getting one of these for the GT but heard might end up losing power by putting this in ?
Is it just going to be a big waste of my pennies ?

Yes they might net you a few bhp on a good day but you wouldnt feel it

Why bother?

My dci 65 has the airbox and some large ducting as standard. It gets plenty of cold air in.

The only thing I would do to mod a 1.5 dci is a good map. That's it engine wise IMO

yeah no gains to be had really and they sound terrible with a filter on them, i tried it with a cone filter a few yrs ago, they make a loud groan off throttle!

Best thing mate. If you want gains then go for a remap

What sort of power increase did you get from the remap?

Not alot mate 106 to about 125 bhp

if your going for petrol then get a sport.. otherwise stick with the dci
