Good Rotary for around £150?

Hi guys, my current kestral Rotary gave up on me the other day, will be looking to replace it in the new year, what do people recommend for around £150? I want something good with a good track record and no problems. Cheers

I would have said Makita, but i've just seen how much they are new  So unless you can find a second hand one, i'd just save a little and go for a lower priced silverline. I've got a £40 one and it works great.

Have you checked in machine mart. I know it sounds s**t but it may be worth checking, I noticed they do machine pollsters and a variety of pads, there's one in grangetown, Sunderland.

The only rotary i'd buy for that price would be the CYC own branded one. The Silverline is way too heavy.

The 3m is a great machine. More expensive obviously.

Not read the replies but the small CYC rotary would be on my list. Other than that Id be looking for spending a bit more and getting the CP.

It's only heavy if your a fcuking weakling. I have massive guns so its not problem for me. *

* I lie I'm a weed really, but its not "that" heavy.

It is that heavy. Lets no be silly old chap, even Forearms admitted after a days detailing with that his arms were falling off. Okay for £40 it's a great buy but still a heavy machine.

The Forearms were unable to lift a brew after three days of R8, Rs4 and S3 detailing in summer with the silver line.

If and when I get more time and space to detail, the CYC will be first on the list.

The Silverline appears to be the same as my kestrel just re-branded?

I think you puffs need to get down the gym and lift some weights if you think a day of that is hard graft, I recently did 3 days on a polo gti and still had the strength to eat a takeaway ;)

The silverline is f**king heavy, but its cheap and it works... well mine does atm, if your looking for reliability for future and constant use take advice about a better machine, but im still using mine after 2 years

Read above sonny jim ;) VAG paint FTL eh Chris?

I agree if you have the car from new and have a good wash process. 6 years of Audi dealer washes is not fun to correct!

I can imagine mate, bucket full of grit and a sponge and away they go.This one had 5 years of very poor washing, was tornado red I think, same as the mk5 golf gti's

If you look around, you may be able to get a Milwaukee one for this kind of money, I know you could a few months back.

I'll be upgrading my 3M one soon, so that will be £120 ish when I sell it :)
