My first problem after a month of ownership

  Glacier White RS200
Hi,

Ive had the 182 around a month now and encountered my first problem, im 99% certain my drivers side rear wheel bearing is on its way out as i can hear a really loud "humming" noise when driving.
The problem doesnt stop there though.... I cant find my locking wheel nut anywhere, the nut is on the picture below and im wondering if its an original renault one? i dont have a code in my service manual or anything and want to avoid drilling it out to be honest

Looks like an original Renault one. Might be worth trying your local dealer as I'm sure I read somewhere that they often have spares.

just take it to a garage, they'll have them off in 30 seconds a wheel, using a rac/aa spec impact driver and a bolt gripper. did a set yest that were completely seized on, 3 hits and spun them out with my fingers!

ive had mine a week and need a new rear wheel bearing to! :(...got a warranty with my car though so itl cover it.

As said, your local dealer may well have a key to remove it. I know when I was involved with a Toyota dealership they had an official Toyota tool set of wheel bolt locking keys to match nearly every official set.

i just cant beleive that its on its way out so quickly, i only had them both changed on the last MOT in may, so since you bought it you must have done some megga millage?
