Auto headlights won't work

My friend was playing around with my headlights and managed to disable the auto mode, now i am unable to switch them back into auto.

I have tried twisting the stalk twice etc. but they won't come back onto auto.

Any ideas?

If you can't get it working the normal way, try disconnecting the battery for a few mins, should get it working again.
(There might be an easier way, but I don't know it)

This could also cause you to need to input your radio code

Cars ignition needs to be just in case you didnt know.

Just in case you didn't know the steps properly

1. Ignition to the second position (Dash lights on, but not started)
2. Turn headlights on/off twice
3. Should hear a Beep (Two Beeps for off iirc)
4. Done
