Still have a misfire

Cars still running like a sack of s**t. Eml is still on (solid now) it idles fine but under load starts to misfire, turn it off and start her up again and it idles normal again..

Changed coil pack and leads.. Had it plugge in and the codes were ignition coil 1 and ignition coil 2

Feel for you mate - been there etc.. It can be expensive changing random parts trying to solve the problem so my advice would be get it to a specialist. I know you're at the other end of the country but the Birchdown lads sorted mine out a treat.

same here!


unbolt the top part of the inlet,remove the leads (so it doesn't try firing) and then get someone to look down the manifold while you crank it over and see if the injectors are pulsing correctly.

I had the same, one of my plugs had deteriorated A LOT.

Plugs changed and its much better, not cutting out, but it does judder if you put your foot down in 4th at low revs.

Plugs leads and coil now changed for my spares. Engine light is back on solid runs like a sack of s**t. All the faults say are coil 1 and coil 2 misfire

Could be the map sensor or the injectors are playing up.
