Tyre deals? need 4x 185/55/R15

I'm after 4x budget tyres, maybe mid, where can i find some good deals?

I do not care about comfort, noise or wear.

I only care about wet/dry grip, maybe fuel economy as a decider

Take these, not the Nankang crap. Proper tyres for a decent price. They're 195/50s though which doesn't matter really (195/50s are often cheaper than 185/55s). Will fit your wheels fine.

I want to stick with the standard size, those are my favourite tyres but i'm sticking to 185/55/R15

If you change to 195/50/15, your tyres will be cheaper, meaning you can afford better ones, not some mickeywing-wongs which offer the grip of an oiled fish on ice.

195/50's fit perfectly fine and will make NO difference to the look of your car or the ride.

Ring them and tell them? They probably won't even care, just at least you've done your bit and told them.

FLOL at declaring tyres. Did you call them when your old ones had worn out a little ? Because that's the same difference you're going to be experiencing.

They're hardly semi-slick borderline legal track tyres.

That's what I did. Why the hell would insurance care lol? Half the time garages don't even know what size is standard.

Can you use 80H tires on a clio 1.2? i can't find the load rating in the manual

I've just had 2 barum bravuris 2 tyres fitted that were cheap from tyre shopper ,and have read some good reviews. Have any of you guys bought or tried these?

Forgot to say but I've had them on for 2-3 weeks and find they have good dry and wet grip.

If i was you i would buy 4 different part worn tyres that way you could compare all 4 then go get a set of the ones that are the bestest simples

Anyone know some nice road tyres for the stock 172 alloy size,
there's 192/50/16's on them, but i've been speaking to someone saying 205/50 r16's would be better fitting,
advise ?
