When does your fuel light come on ?

I checked the range and then checked the self test on the car to check how many litres i had in the tank.

I would have thought my fuel light would have came on by now as i have been driving it for 2 days like this.

Usually around 40miles ish. Not taken a notice that much as I usually top up before then.

I find their quite temperamental and can be inconsistent with the reading sometimes.

Just stick £20 in and see what happens after 100 miles.

Usually bang on 30 miles. I just refuel as soon as it comes on.

I hardly ever look at my range or the self test on the car and just wait for the light to come on and fill up.

Its just alittle worrying that the light has not came on and its now been like that for 2 days.

I have just went and put £67.00 of shell v power nitro into the car so i will never know if the light was to come on or not.

I filled up with £64 of v power nitro today and my red light had been on for about 20 miles.

Very temperamental.. Mine came on with the range showing 74 miles the other week.

Mine came on around 2 weeks ago and it showed a range of 35miles.

9 times out of 10 i will always check the self test trip computer
