Parked it on the driveway hoping to do something to it later, only to hear it's going to piss it down all afternoon! Annoying :(

fitted some new wheels wondering why they were a b**ch to go on then realised i forgot to order the spigot rings... opps. Sorted a new battery got one from halfords for 20 quid down from 80 (stock clearance still 3 years warranty) also cleaned up my corroded alternator connection, now everything runs all works runs lovely just waiting on some spigot rings then take it for a good drive

  2002 Black 172
Over the last week and a half - new rear discs and pads (bearing gone - took wheel off decided the discs needed replacing as well).
New Power Steering pump.
Repaired aircon resistor pack.
Managed to do it all for £200.
Most i've spent on a car since the Cambelt snapped on my last car 2 years ago.

Yesterday I swapped the injector on cylinder 3 as it had decided it doesn't want to work when its cold.

Today I fitted a btb exhaust.

Replaced passenger side front seat as the airbag had blew in it.
Fitted a new dogbone mount too.

Anyone know how to get rid of the airbag and serv light. Feel free to pm me. Been thinking or replacing the ecu with one from a scrapyard (a non-crashed clio)

There's a thread on here somewhere on how to sort out the airbag/SERV light. Mines had it since I switched out the Cup interior for a FF one. I'm used to it but will sort it come mot time.

MOT. Passed with flying colours.

My cousins mechanic drive it down there for me and to be honest it was the first time I've heard the exhaust note from outside of the car. Sounded f**king epic!!

Nigel noticed the area under the scuttle panel was full of water whilst it was in there Friday.

So have taken the scuttle panel off and cleared the blockages on both drain tubes. it was flooded in there! thankfully nowhere near the electrics.

Lowered the steering wheel using the burpspeed method and removed the passenger air bag which had the odd wire going in and out of the air bag cage.
