Thanks boyos!! It was previously my brothers car, the car is lowered on fk coilovers and has 15" wheels therefore runs close to the ground. He was driving down a back lane and hit the sump, engine ran dry and went BANG. Conrod came through the block!

Hi I am in the middle of sourcing a new engine for my Clio 172, its a 2003 car. What should I look to change while the engine is out? Clutch is fine...and what are the best parts(brands). Sorry for the questions, just want no regrets once the engine is in. Many Thanks

i cracked my sump on the weekend and only noticed when the oil light came on and almost a faint rattling noise i pulled over and turned the car off could i of done some serious damage ??? can any one throw some light on the subject cause im starting to panic big end bearing could be damaged ??:(

my alternators gone went to charge my battery last night so i locked the car first and kept the bonnet open charged the battery over night went to put the battery on this morning and the alarm went off fo a second and went off???? now i have nothing!!!!!no ignition no nothing not a light in...
