If you want to improve the sound of your car, the pipercross one that i have certainly has done that for me. Cost about £80.

Is there anyway to decrease the amount of hot air it gets? someone mentioned about making myself a heat shield, but i've no idea how to do that.

Right, I've fitted it. Had a few problems, but as an amateur, I expected that. It wasn't really that hard to do. The instructions I had were a bit poo. Quite hard to follow, but it did the job. Took me just under 45 mins to take out and fit. I've got 3 photos, all taken on my phone so the...

I've got my new pipercross induction kit sitting next to me. Are they easy to fit? I'm a complete amateur, so do you guys think I'll be able to do it, or should I wait until tomorrow for my mate who has a bit more know how to help me do it?

I still don't really know the difference between open and closed induction kits. Also, shall I still buy an ITG panel filter?

Changed my mind again! Have now ordered a pipercross induction kit. £87.99 from thepipercrossshop.co.uk. model number is PK242. Should I still buy an itg panel filter to go with it, or is that a complete waste of time?

Having trawled through the message boards, I think I have now decided on an ITG PANEL FILTER, which I can get for about £40. Is that a good choice, and is it worth it?

I was hoping to spend around £100 - £150, so the £500 jobby is definately out the question!
