What are these, and where should they go

The brake servo hose goes to the one at the back of the inlet and the one under the TB has the oil breather pipe going to it.

play in inlet pulley phase shifter?

they have a tiny amount of 'slack' yes.

With the same tool you've mentioned. We're arm wrestling next time we meet........

    Rear Mounted Turbos

If your not planning on making too much extra power then it'd be an 'easy' solution i guess.

    cambelt

Just check you've got the right tools as a conventional angle gauge on the ex pulley nut is virtually impossible. And completely degrease all the pulleys before they go back on.

    Rear Mounted Turbos

If we consider elements of 'boost' as a constant (effective density), then effective conversion of boost to work done is the result of the thermal efficiency of the engine, not of the turbo system itself. If we are talking about the efficiency of the turbo system itself, simply due to the...

    Help!! Aux belt issues

Its a dumb design, but if the lower torx is tight then when you put the 3/8" square to de-tension the belt, it can nip up and hold the assembly in the de-tensioned state. You would of thought the spring would pivot on a bush rather than the bolt itself, but hey ho.

    Rear Mounted Turbos

True, but efficiency excites me. But at least we've come to the root of the arguments lol.

    Rear Mounted Turbos

Ah right........thanks. I mean there is some arguement, but i'm unsure what it is about. I thought it was about the pros/cons of rear positioning, but you informed me it wasn't.

    Help!! Aux belt issues

did you tighten the lower male torx bolt holding the tensioner spring to the idler body?

    Rear Mounted Turbos

I am really failing to see the arguement to all this? Who and what is actually being discussed.

    Rear Mounted Turbos

success isnt a it works/doesnt work issue. If you have a wart on your hand, is amputation of the entire limb considered a successful cure? Fact is that mounting a turbo in that position is highly inefficient, even if it does make more power than the stock engine would. If the turbo was...

    Rear Mounted Turbos

You loose a LOT of energy by the time exhaust gasses reach the rear of the car....its an inefficient way to run a turbo.
