So if I didn't miss any, the 172 has 1 on the steering wheel, one in the dash, and two in the front seats? Makes it 4? So basically a 3 door clio with all 4 of those intact should work fine? Did you just plug it in?

Nope. Croatia, and unfortunately no good Renault specialists around here. I don't think the uch has anything to do with coolant temp, but will check.

I've checked the big plug, seems fine. Had another UCH in as i wrote earlier, however not much worked since it was an n2 not a hg? Could this ALL be uch related?

Ph2 172 Changed the wires from sensor to ecu also. Yeah already checked the white plug

Checked every possible earthing point when i got the gearbox out for the famous circlip, also added an additional beefy one from chassis to engine just to avoid future issues.
