ive got a 53plate 172 with hardly any miles on it so im abit puzzled as to why this is happening. when i hit a little bump when ive turned the steering it nocks on the drivers side. and when i put it on full lock going forwards and backwards it nocks aswell. i assume its the cv joint. wot does...
after giveing my 172 a pasting round roundabouts ive come to the conclusion that it does handle aswell as id like it to so i thought id go for the cheapest option and thought id just slam it on springs while i save for coilovers. wots the best cheap 1s to get and is it easy to fit them. i aint...
thats seriously cheaper than wot i got quoted. just over 1100 for the cambelt, aux belt and a service. cheeky wnkers wanted 90 for a collant change. where are you from i might come to that gaarage to get it done
nah it aint that bad. i'll check the plugs and the air flow meter and i'll have a think about other things, if any1 thinks of anything else i'll ive it a go. thanks for the help so far. much appreciated
right. i no im due a service but surely it shouldnt sound like a tractor. it abit lumpy on idle and sounds really rough wen cold. has any1 got any ideas wot it could be. or is it just over due a service. any advice much appreciated.

mine 1700. the missus is first driver(recently had a smash and 21 with 0ncb) my mum is second and im the third(19) and thats with diamond. thats the only way i could insure the car, theres always a way round things
where are rentech.im near gatwick airport and i need mine done along with a service. renault quoted me £700 for the cambelt and service was about 400 notes. cheeeky b******s want 90 for a coolant change. how bout that for a piss take
i'm doing the pads today as i no they've had it. it knocks slightly on full lock right so i assume thats cv joint.
i dont no much about cars so can some1 explain wot the cv joint is. is it part of the drive shaft or sumin.
