Thanks for the replies.... MicKPM - Yeah, I spoke to my mate who's a mechanic and he said that it was more like and EGR fault (over my head!). Is that an expensive repair? The car is an '06' reg car so its not so old. Its got about 60,000+ miles as its a 40-45 mle round trip...

I have a Pioneer and mine beeps, I think 5 times (as I have never counted), but I think that its to remind you to remove the facia... Regards.. Ste

I have a Clio 1.5 dCi 106 and I am having the following fault and I am wondering if someone else has had this fault and/or know how to fix it!? Intemitently I get a message saying 'Injection Fault' Just before this happens the engine feels like its struggling and struggling to pull...

Me too.. Gotta love my dci for its fuel economy (and mines the 106bhp version too!) Thats a fair point. I need the mpg for work - cost too much to run the 1*2 atm. Looks wicked tho! Never really been a fan of euro cars (don't think i have seen one done properly tho!) but I have to say...

They do a diesel and a petrol 1.6 16V Zetec S or 1.6 16V Zetec S TDCI. I was looking at the latter of the two but got a good price on my 1.5 dci 106 Clio.

I've just watched the vids!! As stated - shocking quuality!! The way this thread reads it sounds like you clio wasted the vtr when they both clearly show your almost neck and neck. And again (as stated) shocking vtr driver!

His insurance won't be paying out being caught on a phone cam and bye bye to his NCD lol.. Seriously tho, that had to hurt!

OK I have to comment. I know naff all about cars (I don't have a problem admitting that - so you can forget giving me grief over that) and I ain't gonna argue with you over whether or not you kept up with a 172 - even though without proof I do find it hard to believe. All I want to say is...

Finally took it to the Renault dealer I bought it from and they have told me that they think I need a new Top Strut Mount. Just thought I'd post this so anyone with the same issue can see whay I had done. Will update if this fixes the problem or not!
