Hey guys I am looking to lower my bumper slightly, but do not really wanna spend loads on a bodykit. I have heard that a seat ibiza splitter can be got hold of fairly cheap for the front, but does anyone know any options for the rear? (Different ideas for the front would be very welcome too.)...

done it now, you have to move the bit which holds the cd player.

Hi Does anyone know if you have to take the whole dash out to remove the heater dials (the ones in the middle, for changing temp, power, direction), or if they will just pull out? I want to get to the lights behind them. Im talking about a mk1 ph3 by the way. Cheers Dan

Any one done this on a mk1?

If it is a ph 1 or 2 then yes. If it is a ph 3 then you will need to swap the headlights over as well.

Use a hairdryer to heat up and soften the glue, then use a wallpaper stripper or similar flat bladed knife to pry them off. Dont scratch your paint work tho!!

When you say the rears need modifying, how do you mean? do you have to cut chunks out of the seats, or out of the plastic trim on the car? Is it easy to do?

Do you know how much modification it took? And where it needed to be done - I dont really want to hack my car to pieces!!
