I would be a bit annoyed to find its been driven out of the workshop but u trust them to drive it around the crowded workshop when you drop it off. But finding it posted on the internet with a thread praising the car wouldnt bother me much. Hundreds of people see the number plate of my car...

Lol 4" would be a decision to make it you like to be different which doesn't get you anywhere when it comes to other peoples opinions but sometimes i think its gd to be different. In this case i retract my first statement

2nd down on the the left inward roll is nice. Go for 4" be different :) if above is 3" it looks good but 4" should plug tht gap nicely imo

Alot of people would if they could. The want to get a few extra horses on the road is not about dick measurements with other drivers its about personal driving benefits of fewer gear changes and better acceleration which is a good feeling. Having a car that gets me up to 70 or 40-70 quicker...

I have no intention of ever doing track days or busting speed limits. Anything I would ever do to cars in the future would be getting me from 0-70, 30-70 quicker. Thats all I care about.

Are these the piper cams which give this torque characteristic. I dont like revving the nuts off the engine and an iive been trawling the forum to try and find what mods could give this.

Yh ofcourse I agree with that. Was just trying to make a point to defend spending a bit of money on smaller engined cars.
