Was in Harlow as my friend was picking up his car, from our other mates car workshop. Saw 4 Clio's in total I reckon and I think were all Renault Sport variety but wasn't close enough to see clearly, 2 x blue, 1 x black, 1 x silver.

Funny that - H&R's adjustable coilover packages for the Mk1 clio's use bilstein dampers. and H&R are well renowned for their spring design. Thus making your post above slightly contradicting. I would go for H&R adjustable coilovers personally. bilstein dampers. And H&R have LOADS of experience...
