Ive heard of cases where the condensation that you see on the inside of the windows has got to the speaker cones and made them go brittle. I dont think its down to anything youve done wrong to be honest. It could be due to the hot weather or something causing a lt of condensation in the air...

I agree with most of the things Luke said there. The Directed amp will power the sub fine in its optimum wiring configuration. The RMS figures are slightly underrated on those amps, so it will probably put out about 280 Watts of power which is about the minimum for that sub. However for a W3...
