Resolved now by cleaning the pretty dirty Lambda sensor (bank1 in engine bay at top of exhaust downpipe) .

So it came back on after the fuse cleanups. I went underneath and found the lambda sensor wiring was touching the car and exhaust heat shield. Rectified that and the light went off straight away. Maybe again not forever, we will see!

Aye cheers, tried that already . It came back. Then I took out the fuses in the engine bay, cleaned a few of them up that were badly discoloured / mild corrosion type build up, started her up and it's gone again. Possibly that was it, or possibly removing the fuses just manually reset the...

Nobody any ideas on the above? Guess these mk4's are not so common..

yeh, i just have a performance panel filter justnow...but after listening on u-tube to some of the clio's with the KTR I/K - felt I had to give one a try! Plus seems about the only I/K that if anything gains a little rather than drops power. Bit intrustive at times maybe, but i'm not doing big...

Was just looking at RS Tuning website, and they seems to suggest 421's for a bigger bhp gain, but mention a lumpy idle. My Cup already has a fairly lumpy idle...so I'm assuming it can't be that much worse? I mean right now the rev counter barely moves, but you can fairly feel the lumpyness...
