I’m stripping the last items from my phase 2 172 track car and I’d like to ditch the climate and run a very basic matrix to heat the screen.
I’ve fitted a Cup blower which I’ll run off a switch as the loom wiring is different.
Can I run the stock matrix in a similar way and run it off a...
It's always baffled me this sort of thing. "I want something cheap to run so I'm going to spend £5,000 more on a car because it's £100 a year less to tax."
It would be exactly that Buddy.
I already have a 172 track car as well as the M3. All being well insuring all 3 wouldn't be much more than the two I have now and the tax on the M3 is nigh on £500 which would drop with the two due to age.

The damage isn't bad on either car and a respray on both bumpers would suffice and I'm not even sure it's worth my girlfriend...
I sold my old 172 to my best mate. He kindly fitted a new engine, uprated engine mounts, Cobra Daytonas and then sold it back to me for £250 less 2 years later.
I went on to strip it and turn it into a track car. I couldn't let the opportunity to buy it go but couldn't have stripped it had I...
