The gap would be too big then surley its on the edge nowband the new ones are a larger gap to the old ones, bores are all around 82.50 give or take 0.10

Just removed the top piston ring the existing gap was 0.35+ or - 0.05 brand new ring gaps are 0.40 + or - 0.5 how is that even possible? Middle ring down from 0.70 to 0.40 so hopefully my compression loss is through the middle ring but I'm stumped why a new ring would have a bigger gap than...

Hi any recommendations for oil coolers and size for track only 172 n/a with gauges, had a couple engines go wrong so I want to try and best avoid any future damage also does the filter protect the cooler from debris should a rod snap, or if a rod shatter or something like that do you have to buy...

I have a rough idle and water/black smoke out of the exhaust, suspect a bent valve or injector 14ohms across all injectors and cleaned throttle body but this made no difference, compression test revealed 1round 125 across all four, I read on here that it should be around 200 so is that my issue...
