ok, so if i replace all then will have no probs with ecu. From reading the haynes manual they look like the e7j engine if that any help.

have been told that if you replace the coil packs (x2) the ecu might have a problem reconising them. Each block has 2 plugs

Right, on my mk2 ph1 1.6 rxe i think the coil pack is on the way out (thats what the breakdown guy said). what am i lookin at for 1 and are they easy diy fit?? cheers

Right, need 2 get sum new tyres now so was wondering as i have 205/40/r17 on at the mo will 205/45/r17 fit with it being lowered 40mm on springs.

I found this with mine, what i did was 2 -remove the inner rubber strip -look under the roof lining and look for all the bolts around the sunroof -rearly tighten them up -replace the rubber strip Cured my rattle by about 80-90%

Right, i have sprayed my door handles, fog surrounds, side strips, boot lock and the top part with the high level brake light in. (left front and rear bumper strips black) As it was my first time doing so (2 years ago) they have now started 2 chip and look dull, should i try and respray them or...
