The Trophy in the video has had one owner in the last 10 years! Full Renault history & is in total original form from factory.
I bought it and put it in my garage to spend a bit of money on once I had sorted my other projects.
2 months later they contacted me about a video with it & totally...
So the Clio is pretty much done for the meantime!
Just fitted EPAS as well. Found that no pas at all was extremely heavy to use.
Had the car corner weighted and aligned before its trackday on Tuesday.
The car Weighs 964KG with 1/2 Tank.

I took the helper springs out the rear.. it stopped the rattling / clanging.
Looking to order new spring rates tonight. Does anyone know the front and rear spring sizes on the Gaz GHA's?? Was going to remove the springs tonight and measure them but plans have changed :(!
Long time since last update.. But I have done everything apart from the fire extinguisher at the moment!

I feel the same way! I turned a lovely 182 with immaculate interior into a track car [emoji23]
They are getting a lot rarer. Especially in standard form. It will be kept OEM. I may change a few little bits but nothing too major. It will be nice to clean it up!
Hello, I bought my last coolant...
Ahh right, no worries.
I probably will end up making up the braided lines and running them through the interior via bias valve and hydraulic handbrake.
Would be a lot easier buying them already made ready to fit!
Thanks, The cleanest part is the interior.. It is crazy how clean it has been kept. Got a few little bits that need attention but nothing major
Going to replace the coolant bottle and flush the Coolant system at the same time! Made such a nice visual difference in the engine bay on my 182.
Thank you, I'm extremely happy with it.
Over this month I will be doing the typical Clio aesthetic mods, 3/4 Front plate, Silvertec Indicator bulbs etc..
I would like the engine bay immaculate. So will spend a lot of time there.
At the end of the day I have my track car project which is where...
After turning my Black Gold Clio 182 into a track car (which is not practical on the road) I was on the hunt for a new daily.
On Halloween I saw a post on the Clio Sport Facebook page with a 'particularly' clean 172 cup.. As soon as I saw it I knew that I was going to buy it.
Travelled up to...
Had a lot more arrive. Battery cable, Cable cutters, hydraulic cable crimper, rib nuts with tool, heat shrink, odyssey pc680 battery, battery holder, battery cutoff with remote pull!
Big nice box full of new parts which is always nice!
Brand new Renault non power steering rack arrived today! Going to run it without epas initially to see how it drives. If it's not too great I shall just do the conversion.
Managed to drop the subframe with all the suspension/brakes/wishbones/arb at the same time. Going to most of it...
