What is they actualy do when they machine the inlets? im a cnc machinest, im just wondering if i can do it myself. do they simply rework the standard manifold or machine one from a billet?

I had the same problem when i fitted mine myself on the drive. I got sick of the knocking on the rear axle so went to see me mate and he done it on the ramp with a bit of twistin and its sweet now.

Ive just paid up to full membership and read up about the jms kit. ive got a k&n panel filter in standard air box and a scorpion cat back exhaust. i think ill get the car re mapped then put any more money into other things.

Can anyone help me with some info an matched inlets? What are they, how do they work, who are the best people to go to about them and how much are they. What sort of gains could i get and would i need other things to go with them cheers. im not too clued up on Cios yet. i was gonna get rid of...

Ive got a pipercross induction kit on my 172 at the minute. the car is going for a remap in a few weeks. will i be better off putting the standard airbox back on and getting an uprated filter to go in there. i know it will run better before the remap with the airbox back on but what about after...

Mines on 17s had them on when i bought it. sounds like i need some standard 1s.

ive just been readin an old thread. noticed a few people sayin ya shouldnt put bigger that 16s on phase2 172s. does anyone know why?

thanks everyone. ill look into that fastchip. ive spoke to 2 people who claim theres went up to 190 bhp. and thats on a standard car. i wonder if there tellin me porkies. just looked on a local companies website and there sayin power goes up 187 and torque up to 220?
