currently watching the latest Chris Harris and friends. Is it me or do they seem to be in danger of disappearing up their own arse's.
I used to enjoy it (inc the CC stuff) but they're getting hard work. He needs to go back to Harris on cars plus doing something like the original CC's podcast where he interviewed different people with an automotive background.

AutoAlex has properly gone to s**t recently and looking at the comments, I'm not the only one that thinks that.
Every video is;

- Buy s**t car and put 'challenge' at the end of the video title
- Put it on the ramp and poke it with a screwdriver while laughing about rust and calling it a shitbox
- Car vertical advert
- Put BC Racing coilovers on it along with Febi Bilstein parts and say how good they are even though you get them for free
- Drive down the same road they always do, over that little bridge and say how well it now handles even though you've only gone round 2 corners at the speed limit
- Park it up, leave it and never see it again
You should write that in one of the videos comments.

Tbf, there's loads of comments along the same lines.
I actually prefer All The Gear. Love that it's just 2 mates pissing about pretty much.
I hate the never see it again, especially when it's an interesting car. I like them, but I find Rory a bit irritating, just not that compelled to watch their stuff because as you say, it'll be exactly the above.
Don't forget the budget challenge too, where the free tyres, free coilovers and free everything else doesn't count against the budget either.

I don't know how people watch it. It's become one of the worst automotive channels out there. Him and Taylor are really irritating and it's all just clickbait nonsense. One of those channels where hardly anything seems to happen in any of the videos.

What’s happened to tavarish. At one point his P1 videos were getting massive views, the next he’s over here doing cameos on uk YouTubers videos. Now he seems to have disappeared (I know he got divorced)

Both Auto Alex and TDC need to be careful. Their overheads seem to be growing, with crew, larger premises etc. Alex has just bought a Macan. And Taylor seems to have stopped selling cars as well.
If they don’t mix it up a bit they may fine their viewers drop right off and with it their £££.

Fair assesment.
I don't watch it anymore, because it was just some mates dicking about. Which is fine, but I don't care enough about the content when they are dicking about. Its just a repeat of the previous 30 videos. It doesn't stick at anything and thus has no identity IMO.
Whereas all the gear, is silly things I actually ask myself as an adult, when taking a poo. "how far can you walk in 24 hours.." they had an answer.

Haven't managed to get through a full episode yet. It's just four old farts whittering. Reminds me of The Intercooler. Andrew Frankel comes across as another pompous arse of a man. The problem with the blokes on the Harris one is that I just don't care what they think about anything. I know some of them are well involved in the car world, but they don't really seem to have anything that interesting to say.*
*there is a certain irony in this, as I make YouTube videos of me talking b****cks, and appear on a podcast, and I am certain that most people don't care about what I have to say either.

I watched a couple of vids on Autobahn the other day.
Harrys Garage had in old Lambo Countach and was doing 150 mph. Poster car of the 80's.
Then AutoTopNL had a a mapped 340i touring doing +180 mph. (Then a Stage 2 G80 M3 CS doing +200)
What a world we live in when speed so accessible.
The other thing that made me laugh was Harry had done 60 km and oil and water not up to temp on V12 as something like 17l of each.

I can't do Auto Alex, such an annoying prick. It's a real shame because the content, on the face of it at least, certainly interests me.
Some people are just likable, like Jonny Smith. Some people just aren't, like Alex.

I prefer Taylor out of all three of them, seems like the most genuine one out of all of them.
I don’t mind AutoAlex videos, understand it’s all gone a bit stale based on him having a kid etc. I prefer his V2 channel and I enjoy Taylor…. I am sure it will all move in the right direction, but they need to actually get on with delivering some content soon. The current stuff is very laboured.
I really enjoy the Chris Harris podcasts, especially now Chris Cooper seems to have stopped referring to “my boys”. Every time he mentioned them it wound me up something chronic. But as far as podcasts go it’s on my commuting playlist along with 9Werks, Smith and sniff, behind the glass etc. I seem to have subscribed to the Intercooler, Andrew Frankel is a pompous arse. So I never tend to listen to them. Same as that lad that does road to success…always name dropping, has obviously done well for himself based on his cars. But Christ he is annoying

Mat Watson's incredibly annoying too. I used to watch the Carwow drag races with my boy but we've grown bored of them.
Have people seen Chris Harris new M5? He's just got the interior retrimmed. It's... quite something.
Biggest loss for me is the Odd Autos bloke who seems to have gone AWOL I really liked his videos and his subtle humour was bang on the mark, seemed a real genuine bloke.

John is dry as f**k and I always end up laughing at something on his vids. He seems a genuinely nice guy.
I laughed like hell when they gave him the keys to the Marauder thinking he’d plant the throttle and s**t himself.
