It was sat a ton in the outside lane comfortably 😂

Do you want to finish mine after?
Mate I don’t think I’ll be doing any more sadly. I’ve got the RB to do next and I think I’m done with Renaults after that sadly.
Just far too expensive now to get them anywhere near a decent standard. And that’s if you can even get the parts.

(Apart from the Mk1, that’s going nowhere)

I really really should of got mine done 2 years ago. Now I think it may be too far gone and it's taking up space I could now do with for other stuff. The fact I've completely lost interest in working on cars isn't helping

Which is why I just send them away to be done now. I don’t have the time or the patience for it.
Unless someone is paying me. 😂

Something very satisfying about new premium rubber on freshly powder coated rims…

And fitting them was a nause. I only fit big ballon tyres and they’re easy. These stupid little cotton reels were hard work. 😂

Mechanical refresh complete!!!

New cambelt kit
New aux belt kit
New dephaser
Oil, filter, plugs, air filter, pollen filter
New discs, pads and brake fluid
Calipers stripped and cleaned
All engine mounts and bracketry removed cleaned and painted
4 x new Cup shocks
4 x new Eibach springs
New lower arms
New track rod ends
4 x wheels refurbished
4 x new Michelin PS3’s
1 x brand new (genuine!) Standard exhaust

Side skirts removed, arch liners removed, everything cleaned/treated and painted where needed, and all put back together.

69,000 miles and 2 owners from new. Totally original down to the tape deck and the Alcantara steering wheel.

I don’t say this lightly, but I think this drives just as good as my old one did when it was 3 years old. Proper proper thing to drive now, wow!!

Wait for storm bell cheese to go away and I’ll get some proper pics after I clean it.

Bosh!! 💪🏽

No. I haven’t paid the bill for this one yet. I don’t even know how much the bill is but I do know I can’t afford it. 🤦‍♂️😂

I just took it round the block again. It’s f**king mi t to drive. So so good.

Are you keeping it now or moving it on? (To pay for the bill worst case)

Came in this morning and job done! All Ming successfully dissolved.

Primered, painted with some generic silver paint, lacquered with Matt lacquer to make them look OE;

IMG_4840.jpeg

Then fitted with new screw cap covers. It’s all in the details!

Next up - with the help of my badass light. Which doesn’t fit old cars as they’re too narrow. 😂

IMG_4833.jpeg

So a rig up was needed;

IMG_4834.jpeg

Rear seat base removed and all cleaned and air lined out. 👌🏽

IMG_4835.jpeg

IMG_4832.jpeg

Seats wet vac’d after a good vacuum and drill brush scrub.

Snappy’s work was given a wipe over;
