I'm looking into new SIM deals... currently paying £13.50 for 20Gb but I only seem to use around 3-4Gb per month.

Looking at 1p Mobile or Smarty which are like a fiver for 5Gb, incredible really. Any experience of these super cheap deals? Both get good reviews on SIM Sherpa.

Been fine, went through Money saving expert website and got 50gb unlimited calls and messages for 42p for 8 months then £9.90 after. 30 day rolling contact as well.

I think everyone always thinks they will need more data than they actually do tbh.

I've had all four of us on Smarty for a few years now, no issues other than the slightly patchy coverage...a minor irritation.

Bargain!

The 10% discount is because I have us all within a family group.

Got my SIM from Lebara and signed in on the app etc. It's asking me what day I want to port my number over, it's given me Tuesday being the first available day, why would it not be today etc?.

Possibly my EE contract renews at that date?

After a quick look that seems to be the norm, not done it ever so thought it was strange, expected it to be instant lol. So the latest day is Tuesday but likely to be well before.

Noticed the signal went from 0/1 Bar with the EE sim to 4/5 with Lebara, which is decent.
