As ever, we’re back with the Hotlaps.
All funds raised from hotlaps go directly to the clubs chosen charity. A huge thank you is due to @Nik @Sunglasses_Ron and the rest of the staff/admins for all of their hard work putting this weekender together.
Up first, we have two clio x89s from Vector Smart Chain Racing. Both currently being driven in the 750mc Crypto Clio Sport Championship and built to a high spec. Out and out race cars, regularly qualifying in the top 3 and podium finishers.
The team will also have a simulator on hand for those who are twiddling their thumbs and wishing they got track time. This will be available from £5.
Next we have a very nicely specced MX-5 from Diamond Performance. Turbo, full cage, aero and more. This is more of a track day weapon than out and out race car. But it’s still sure to leave passengers with brown pants with 280bhp and weighing as much as a slipper.
For those who struggle with harnesses or getting in and out of low cars, we have a Megane 250. Currently running 300bhp and piloted by a twice vice champion, you’ll get a little bit of comfort and a fair amount of terror.
Laps will be charged at £20 for one car of your choice. Or, £50 for all three (197/MX5/Meg) for club members.
Last year, we were incredibly busy all day and I hope it’s the same again this year. I’d absolutely love it if we could smash last years figure out of the water 🙏
So dig deep, come and have some fun with us. Don’t forget your helmets and passenger passes!
