HUION Kamvas Pro 24 (4K) drawing pads anyone used?

How old is she Ant and what type of CAD is she doing? That seems a bit extreme!

These devices are better suited to art/sketching etc. Not many people would use something like that for classic CAD. I just googled that Krita app and thats far more like a normal use case.

Would she be better suited to something like a Microsoft Surface or ipad pro with a stylus? The Huion looks pretty incredible but unless I've misunderstood its just a monitor?

I have a Wacom Intuos Touch5 (Large) PTH850 sat here. Yes, it is old but I believe it can be used in Windows 11 with drivers available. It has hardly been used and been sat in my office for 12 years. 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity. It was quite the daddy back in the day! :ROFLMAO: It is the larger size so is about half a metre across with a touch sensitive area of about 30x20cm. It doesn't have the fancy built-in screen, of course.

I can dig it out if you are interested?

About 2.7 times per year, I think I need a drawing pad. Then I realise that I don't and not bother! 😊

Cheers all. Ordered one in link and it’s arrived today. Looks decent.

She’s 13 and a very skilled drawer/creator. Hoping this will push her skills further!

On a side note, I decided to try my old Wacom tablet earlier today...

It's fantastic! :ROFLMAO: From a creative point of view, it is great for creating raster and vector artwork. Not so good for 3D, though - but that was more to do with the fact that it would need some time investment to configure and set it up. And I can't be ar$ed. It's just easier to use a keyboard and mouse for the 99.9% of stuff I do. :ROFLMAO:
