Well if you dont want to take it out then just cut the excess thread off. It isnt doing anything once it has gone through the nut on the other side. Just leave a few threads showing for safety and cut the flaming thing shorter!
It refers to the viscosity of the oil when hot and cold I think. So for example in an older engine because the wear and general tolerances are greater you use a higher viscous oil to stop it pissing out everywhere. Or at least that is my understanding of it.
Oh well, have to try and make my own then.
If it is worth the dosh then its not a problem. Are you happy with it??
Plus you forgot your e-mail address for the piccy!

Well you are not going to use it again so jam a screwdriver through it to give you more leverage, just be careful of the inner shaft!!
Frickin French!! Find the tightest most inaccessible place and put the oil filter there.
Well it did on mine. For sure it still gets hot after a good spanking as it isnt just the exhaust that makes the bay hot, but for short drives it is a lot cooler, plus it helps the gases escaping do it more effectively whithout upsetting the pulses that much.

Not strictly true. Lowering the car should give you more grip in the wet!! This is due to the ventura effect, as used on most racing cars. The high pressure/low pressure differential increases and hence so does the amount of downforce and mechanical grip.
Obviously this depends on a lot of...

Yeah Chavy, you are opening a real can of worms here matey. The logic says yep it is possible to create a higher pressure of air to simulate forced induction, but the speeds you would have to be doing to gain any significant benefit are up for discussion. Plus the aerodynamic alterations to your...
Yeah, I spoke to you for about 30 secs..I was wearing the blue Reanault F1 top. Anyway, so does that mean I have to get a new bumper to accomodate the fog lights?? Or will they fit the standard one?
I gather all the rest would of come from Hill Power..can I be cheeky and ask the cost??
Oh...

I would still put some sort of support onto the sump. Although the engine/gearbox will not move vertically it will pivot around the two side mounts and move front to back. The support should just be enough friction to stop this pivoting action and prevent damage to other components such as hoses...
Fella,
I agree with Renwill, your quad-quad conversion looks ace, probably the best I have seen. Personally I wouldnt do the headlights on mine but I would love to know where you got the fogs from and how much!!!
It brought it home to me that the standard willy is just not quick enough in...
