Why wouldnt you recommend the plate type? Because they work under braking as well?? Or purely because the other is better?
I have seen a LSD for the Williams for sale in the back of Motoring news but I have forgotten the name of the company, but at least they exist. About 800 quid seems right.
One common fault on these, if it is the DIET sort is the lead that goes to the coil/solenoid. Take it off and give it a good clean. See if that works. My girlfriend has the same problem of not starting her 1.2 clio, every time she comes home with oil/muck on her hands I know what has happened.
I thought the cup race was the best out of the lot, with Kirkaldy and Huff giving it large.
Sat in Huffs car in the paddock and talked a few things over with the head engineer. Was a great day out.

Perfect opportunity now to do all those little things that you know will need doing at some time in the near future. i.e. Clutch, timing belt, heat wrap etc..
You can even wax-oil your bay and subframe for that extra piece of mind!
Good luck..hope it goes OK. Fifth gear is a b**ch to get...

For christs sake dont be trying full throttle gearchanges as mine blew up after a day at Brands.
It is the torque you gotta look after as this is the turning force of the engine and is the brute that will shear your shafts. As long as it is delivered smoothly it should be able to handle loads...

Not a b**ch to replace on there own but to do it you have to take the cambelt of again and go through all that crap. You sure the altenator belt isnt slippin?
No Im not harping back to my youth and those little paper squares, or the black microdots!!
Thinking of putting one in my Willy but not sure what type to go for, has anybody looked into this and/or tried it??
What about..the fact that renault knew they would be racing these suckers so built the vvt in there for them only, as they would be using wilder cam profiles than the standard road cars?
There has to be a logical explanation for this huge amount of work just for a smoother idle!
The chip alone wont do much other than change the fuelling a tad and change the timings slightly. You are better saving your money and getting one when you get a new set of cams, so the whole lot can be set with a RR session!

I use and have used a shed load of different CAD software packages the main ones are Catia, IDEAS, Solidworks. There isnt really a package where you start with blocks and add them to your model. You start with a blank sheet of paper - do your sketch then take it from there.
After the model...

They didnt come in leather. Plus I would of thought that Renault only changed the material of the seat and not the seat design. Maybe the 16v seat is the same? Dont be sold purely because of the williams connection!
Place them on a good structural part of the car, either the jacking points if they fit and use a good trolley jack to lift it on another point, or use your normal jack and put them under the box section running the length of the car. Once you have it in the air you will know where and where not...
