Nah I meant a complete ceramic tip, i remember a development sometime ago now where they had a plug that lasted a lifetime..not sure on the exact details or whether they are still available but definatley saw it either on Tomorrows World or Beyond 2000.
Anyway doesnt really matter.
You can insert eccentric cams into the bolt holes on your swivel hub, then pass through some normal bolts. The cams can then be rotated in relation to each other to give you adjustable camber.
Yeah a dark grey would be good. like they used to put on the Mk1 T5s..i think it was a gunmetal/anthracite grey type thing. Please dont go gold as you would get laughed at by others thinking that it was a crap attempt at a willy lookalike, not realising you know what you are on about.
What would be cool is have the flush fitting ones that the new Audi & VW have. When they are activated they pop up out of the bumper, do there stuff and then fit flush again.
Nice!

Nah, not really. Im new to all this so Im feeling my way round at the mo. Went to Brighton a few weeks ago on a scouting mission but it was nothing to shout about..if all 35 from Southend turned up in Brighton (no worries for space) there would be some ace eye-popping moments!! Got a good size...
No worries mate.
All depends on the car..the Pug 106 rallye looked quite cool with its white wheels.
Plus my rally car has the white OZs and looks fantastic (until they get coverd in brake dust!)
Agree with all the above but one major point that nobody has mentioned before is....
PRICE OF FUEL!! Just been to the states a while back and filled my hire car to the brim and it cost me about £13
There is a place in Tonbridge called Spit and Polish, they have a website showing you how it is done. Had my Willy wheels done and there are the DBs!! A bit pricy though about £55 a wheel inc VAT.
Would love to post some renderings on here for you guys to mull over. Sadly my knackers would be for the chop if I did!
Just buy the last issue of Autoexpress....its pretty damn close.

I agree with ya Captain. I wasnt that impressed with Cup at all, yep its lighter and a tiny bit quicker (didnt really notice much). I reckon most will buy the 172 for the additional bits, but if you are buying the Cup for a trackday toy then I would spend the cash on something else!

OK, Ill leave the pub and head straight for Ikea. If Im not there dont worry just leave when you have to and I will catch u down the seafront. Reckon the chances of meeting Jim will be V.slim so its probably best if I try and meet u all at Ikea. But if you see a mint Willy 2 then give me a wave!
