Personally I wouldnt. I know it is the wrong place to say this but I would be happier spending £25K on something else, we have put a lot of work into the MK2 but I still feel you can get a better drive from something else. If you want the exclusivity and the shear fact you have one then fine...

If you loosen all the wheel nuts and then wobble it only your wheel will wobble and not give you any indication what is wrong. Keep the nuts tight jack it up and give it a good spanking - up down left right. In your haynes manual (buy one if you havent got one) it tells you the tolerance of...

This thing will be tons better than the Mk1..only seen a VR model of it so far so cant comment on the performance but on paper this is what shouldve been done from the start.

OK Ctain. This might not be that technical for a guy like yourself but Ill shoot anyway. Upon start up on my Willy, the revs settle at a lovely 960ish. Now after ragging it the revs then settle to a over excited 1200 or so sometimes higher. I have a feeling it is the idle control valve but...

If you wanna start in Motorsport then a smart move is to contact some rally teams and offer your services for free, there are plenty of goodish teams needing people to help out on events. Thats how I got started and you meet people and progress so long as you are good enough.

Is it not a pool left by driving without the filler cap on?? Sure it is engine oil and not the power steering fluid or gearbox oil? The colour and smell will tell you what it is. There is nothing down there that can leak, unless it is pissing out from somewhere else and ending up there.
