know how u feel mate - i had someone hit my RT last week and did one without leaving a note. Cars ready for scrap heap now - hence the quick move for a new one!
The car should have been £9700 but it has been reduced for the january sale, which ends on thursday so if we do get it well have to be quick. I think thats why it isnt coming with free insurance.
Its for my girlfriend an she learnt in a corsa so is swaying more that way at the moment, and we...
What does anybody think of them? I hear tales of renault using a lot of plastic which just about makes it through to the end of warranty, and that the new clios are not over reliable.
what ive got a price for is:
I think it is a 1.2 16v clio dynamique
brand new - on offer until the end of...
UPDATE,
Fixed in place but not doing anything, is it just me or isnt there not a lot of wire to play with?
Had enough trouble wiring up my side repeaters, is just a fiddly job or am i just going the competely wrong way about it?
Ran the wire down the drivers side of the boot down to the...
I agree with u actually Fatherted - each to their own!
i luv them on the MGs and if done properly i reckon would look pretty good on a phase 1/2 clio. there was a local 5GTT that looked great with one - but it really complemented the exhaust well.
might hold it off for a while though and...
guessing from the lack of posts these are the views of the majority aswell.
its just a clio has one parked outside where i live and it does look crap - but i thought maybe with the right exhaust and bumper it might look ok.
leaving mine well alone then.
ive just bought a 3rd rear brake light off the net with full installation instructions. Problem is i dont really have any idea what to do with the wires. apparently the + goes to the brake light and the negative to the earth and i have this little blue clamp thingy i dont know what to do with...
the clios with a boot - theyre pretty rank
(the non-hatch version before any smart arse comments ;) )
any one seen one? saw a pic month or 2 back but cant find it
What are people opinions on these? (the shields protecting the rear bumper, not on the heat shield on the manifold :] ). I kinda like the look of them on the MGs but not seen any on a clio.
How on earth do i remove my phase 1 grill?
ran a search previously and had a go but couldnt for the life of me get even close to getting the dam thing off.
any ideas anyone?
Cheers.
Wouldnt mind in ur face but will need then to get alloys to match the look asap. Need to w8 for tax rebate though!
Im guessing most back boxes with a big exit make more of a noise than the standard ones.
Toying with the idea of a new back box for my 1.4 RT.
Looking at 3" and 4" tailpipes - what do they look like when on? Does the 4" just look too big?
Cheers!
I thought bonnets and vents had to be purchased seperatly from renault?
NE way, I think the vent has been grafted on as underneath the bonnet looks the same as my old one. I know eventually the vent would crack but this was paint that had chipped away down to the bare metal, dont know how it...
Bought a valver bonnet recently and it was slightly damaged in the post, tried to touch it up and it is better than it was - will do for now - but wondering how much to get it porfessionally done?

Like a lot of people, the yellow fogs on my 92 RT are corroding inside. Ive had them off and looked at them but couldnt take the thing to bits (worried about breaking it).
Is there anyway I can open up the unit to see if there is any chance of resurrecting them? New ones arent really an option...
1.0 Micra @ 18 (banger)
1.1 Fiesta @ 21 (an improvement)
1.4 Clio RT @ 21 (starting to get there)
Uni kinda killed the car front until a year long work placement started to bring money in again. Start back for my final year on Monday so hoping not too much goes wrong with the car between...
I had the same problem and asked the garage to have a look when it was going in for a service. They said it would be 2 hours labour just to investigate as the heater is in an awkward position but they fixed and didnt charge me, so all I can assume is that it is a simple job when you find out...
http://www.lunchboxbill.com/cliohttp://www.lunchboxbill.com/clio - a working progress on a tight student budget - 16v bonnet hopefully to go on this weeknd.
I live in the student digs in between the tunells - never been to the aintree meet - whens that then and what do you do?
I live in Liverpool and in 6 months I had my car stolen and written off - & then my CD player nicked - both times in the nice areas! Dont get me wrong - Liverpool is a top city but when it comes to car crime there are plenty of thieving little f**kers arounds - especially when the penalty to a...
