yeah seem to run nice up the gears just uneven on tick over nothing u can do about that...well not unless u sell up and buy different car ha ha

mate i bought a cup 2 wks ago with 30k on and got the tapping noise as well..would seem this is very common in them and all the guys on here say its the charcoal can so went 2 reno today and got me one. as soon as i get time i will be puttin it on just dont wanna freeze my ass off doing...

thought i'd broke something on the top end aswell ha ha but when i got out of the car noise had gone its odd that u cant hear it outside only inside.. hey i've got a small crack in my fog light and its filling up with water do u no how much to replace it?

is that why it ticks then cause its made of metal and not plastic or is it the valve inside it mate?? what a stupid design so whats its job something to do with exhaust emissions yeah...

hi i posted a question about 7 days ago about my clio cup making a ticking noise when warm to which some of u have had the same prob and only heard from inside the car... nearly all of u said charcoal cannister so i ordered one costing 46 sheets :approve: if u had this problem and got rid of it...

just happy its nothing bad its defo this charcoal cannister from what u guys are sayin...

umm maybe it is.. just hope it dont cost the earth my bro has a clio and said something about charcoal fuel box on the side of the engine

na mate its well coming from the engine cause if i rev it its gone but seconds later back

please please please can anyone help?? seem to have tapping noise on idle which is more noticable when your inside the car, it doesn't always happen but worried what the problem maybe. any ideas???:dapprove:
