Got a factory fitted kit on my Clio, but had a minor accident the other day which resulted in my front splitter cracking in two places, and with two chunks missing.
Anyone know where I can get a new one and, if I have to go to Renault for it, how much I'm looking at it setting me back.
p.s...
Looks cool. Have to say, I thought the gold badges were ok (but I'm probably not the best person to judge, lol). Not mad keen on the tinted rear lights myself, but that's just me.
I passed my test last June (so just under a year), and started learning 6 months before that. Been using my mums Fiesta whilst I was self employed, and now got a new job so decided to treat myself.
It was just over £11k for everything, which was pretty cool since it was listed as £11,795 I...
Thanks cooks, You guys reckon 35mm will be enough?
Also, am I right in thinking that I'll need to use a hairdryer and some cotton to get the "custom" stickers off the sides?
Still getting insurance quotes for £2000+ so with this I'm only paying £480 per year for the next two years. Will probably get it lowered asap, and then I wanna colourcode the mirrors, but I'll probably just leave the alloys to be honest.
Just a mk3 1.2 Sport Extreme. Insurance deal was too good to miss out on, I had originally ordered a Corsa 1.4 16v last week, but cancelled it and ordered this instead.
Yeah, it's an 07. How much would I be looking at for lowering, and how much by do you reckon? (sorry, complete noob when it comes to cars really. just know what I like)
Ok, managed to get some decent pics when I went to pick up my sisters Megane with her today. I can't wait to pick it up, especially being my first car an everything :)
If you're fully comp, then just ring autoglass. They should come and fix it/replace it, and they'll sort it all out with your insurance company. Shouldn't affect your no claims either.
It's never too late. I think I'm gonna make sure I do mine within the next couple of years. Only paying £480 per year for the next two years, cos of the deal I got from Renault, but after that I'm gonna want something more powerful than a 1.2.
i'd imagine that was more to do with the no claims. i've checked mine for next year, and the years no claims makes a far bigger difference than my age.
just been speaking to a lad who did his pass plus, and his insurance dropped instantly from £1400 to just under £800.
cheers, i only came on here looking for advice on removing the awful "custom" sticker that's on the side, but seems like i can learn a lot, and seems to be friendly too.
any thoughts on the car (albeit not the best pic to judge from). the wheels that are on it (17" wolfrace) i was stuck with...
