I've been thinking about getting a new MP3 player and was wondering if anyone knew of a wireless version so I can sync with my music without having to be physically connected via a wire.
I know Microsofts Zune does this - however it won't work with my Mac (unless I run XP on it, which isn't...
Yep I can totally see that, and agree. However, I was planning to do maybe 4 trackdays a year at the most, and the rest of the time it'd be driven on normal roads with potholes / speed bumps / uneven surfaces / etc.
I went over to the local dealership on the weekend to try out the R27 as I've got it down as my next car. The car wasn't ready though so the dealer let me test drive an 197 so I could have a comparison until the R27 arrived a little later.
First impressions of the 197 - loved it. Loved the...
Err nope - it's still £95 - i booked it yesterday: http://www.vauxhall.co.uk/vx/microsite/vxrtrackday/vxr_trackday.html?campaignid=email&advertiserid=VXRtrackdayinvite&bannerid=mmitw
They won't have vx220's there as they aren't current models (however I owned one for a couple of years, and can...
Now that I've sold the S2000 I was thinking about getting a smaller, but still fun car and have narrowed my search down to either the Clio (R27, or Cup) or the Corsa VXR.
I don't want to buy a brand new car unless prices are heavily discounted, so was thinking at spending around 13K on a car...
Not a bad start :)
Couple of things that need looking at though...
1. Make the background image a gif with transparancy so it doesn't pick up the canvas colour. I'd then change the background colour in the html to the orange colour that you've used in the graphic, as currently it's different...
I do web design if your still looking for someone. Loads of experience doing everything from holding pages, to e-commerce, to Content Management systems. We also design logos, and carry out print work. Give me a shout if you like - http://www.thedesignunion.com
Sorry if this is a bit of a thick question - but if you were to buy a bluetooth head unit, could you play music on it via a mobile phone with bluetooth enabled? Basically, can you stream it from the mobile, into the head unit?
I was thinking of a Sony Erricson phone and a Parrot bluetooth system.
Yep I use them to buy domains, but I don't use their hosting. Apparently there are *issues* with their hosting at the moment as people keep contacting me about them as I have a testimonial on their site singing their praises.
I still use them for domains - just get hosting elsewhere.
I just went from a Tom Tom (3 years old) to a Garmin 310D - no regrets.
It has handsfree phone thingy
free traffic updates for life (and it works)
Plus the directions have been perfect so far.
Very happy - get the D version if you want traffic updates
£150/£200 D
I made the change just before xmas, and now only use my PC for testing. I'm afraid I'm another convert, and i can't see myself going back. I went for the 17 inch MacBook Pro. I thought i'd want to use windows on it too, but i never got around to loading it on because i have no need for it...
No - but i leave my glovebox open, and nothing in the car. Seeing as my stereo is standard, and i have a tracker, it was the next logical thing for me to buy for security.
But i see what you mean ;) A garage is deffo a good thing to have - maybe the original poster could rent a garage to put...
I would probably move to somewhere where i didn't have to worry about parking it on the road. Leaving it on the road, it will no doubt end up with some damage, and it'll do your head in jumping out of bed every time you hear something outside - just to check that your car is safe.
I leave mine...

I'm sure there are lots of better ways of doing it - but this is the simplest way i could think of doing it with what you've said
They both sem to be totally different routes. The first one is so that you can learn how to be a web developer - ie a coder. The other is obviously design led. So i guess it depends on what you want to be - a designer, or a coder.
There is good money in both when you graduate - i guess it just...
Don't forget to test it on a Mac too, as well as IE6 & 7 (PC) - just to throw another few spanners into the works...
Inevitably when we make websites it never works on all platforms on first try. We get there in the end though.
Mine's going to be on the cover of Practical Performance Car in July, though it's not supercharged by any means - should be some good studio pictures though...
hahaha not all of Leeds is like that y'know - there are some nice bits. Mind you I'm not sure i would want to park up in Hyde Park for too long - esp at night.
I've ordered the P21s BTW
Will do with the wheels - I've got a couple of decent brushes for them, tyre dressing, and some cloths for them too! As you can see from the pics - the alloys are in very good shape without any marks on them.
Glad everyone else likes the car too - very kind of you :D
