Not a bad start

Couple of things that need looking at though...
1. Make the background image a gif with transparancy so it doesn't pick up the canvas colour. I'd then change the background colour in the html to the orange colour that you've used in the graphic, as currently it's different.
2. Change the meta keywords as they are too generic and not specific to you
3. Change the meta description to not only include your name, but also what you do. Keep it to about 12 words.

Also - what is the scriptalicious, and lightbox code being used for (I know the effects, just can't see any evidence of them being used here).

Code are being used for the pics etc, I have took the other pages off for now etc and the images, just wanting to focus on getting the design right.

Ill get on changing the tags etc.

That looks pretty good. Although if you are going to be adding more content then widening the page might be a good idea.

Yer thats what Im going to do. its only a quick put together to see what it would look like.
