I had a williams I a few years back and got it to 198bhp (rolling roaded by prima racing) with the following mods...
Induction kit
Full exhaust/decat/ with 3" tailpipe
ECU re-map
Magnecor ignition leads and some dodgy spark plugs (cant remember which)
I was expecting about 175bhp, but...
Had my Cup 6 months now and decided it needs to be faster!
Planning on getting the R-Sport ECU and some sort of induction kit. Any opinions on the best induction kit ?

Dunno how I missed it first time round but the 2AMP interior light fuse had blown. Strange that it takes the CC and Radio with it too though! And WTF is it only 2AMP? Ive never seen a 2AMP blade fuse before! Replaced it with a 4AMP as this was the lowest my local motorworld had in stock.
Im sure the rev limit on my Cup was around 6750 -7000rpm when I first got it, but just recently (after going over 5000 miles) it seems to go right up to just below 8000rpm. Is this normal? Or have I bust the rev limit by thrashing my car once too often!?:confused:
the music was pretty sh*t and no my interior light wasnt on when I was driving! just tried it when I stopped and found it was knacked too.
no one else had anything similar?
Driving to work this morning in my Cup, cranked up a CD Iwas playing and the stereo , air con and interior light went off. I presumed it was a fuse, but ve had every single fuse out and they all look OK.
Any ideas?
Im thinking of replacing the head unit in my cup with a multichanger. Are there any units that are compatible with the steering wheel controls and the in-dash lcd display used by the standard radio ?

Mines got CC, just over a week old now with 600 on the clock. I thrashed t*ts off it tonight for the first time and boy does it go! I very much doubt the CC reduces power at all, certainly not that youd notice anyway.

I passed the IAM test back in 1995 when I had a R5 Turbo. The main reason was that I thought Id get a reduction in insurance (21 at the time and my premiums were high!). But it made fek all difference!
They still never seem interested when I tell them now either.

Yep, your absolutely right, just checked my cup, and another cup... the passenger side tyres both say outside but the tread direction faces the wrong way.
I also tested out my brakes on a wet raod and sure enough it was the n/s tyre that locked up every time.
Thanks guys, I think Ill just leave it well alone! The car handles spot on, so I dont want to jepordise that.

Got my new cup the other day and noticed on the drive home that the steering wheel is very slightly off centre. The car drives fine, amazing in fact, doesnt pull to one side or anything, but if I look at the steering wheel when driving on a straight road its annoying cos its not quite...
Can someone confirm that Renualt are just lazy gits and cant be bothered to swap the wipers over to UK spec on all clios? Im getting paranoid that its just a fault on my car now! They go from right to left instead of left to right.

Im well pleased with it. Very frustrating keeping it under 4000rpm though, not sure how long I can keep that up! Mind you , even below 4000 it pulls and handles really well.
