cheers, i have a phs 1 rail with return take off to tank, i have a cheap adjustable fuel pressure regulator on it atm, but its shite, so non adjustable is the way to go? does it want to be 3.5 bar at idle?
i live between Peterborough and Cambridge, my clio has itb's cat cams 421's, k tec gen 90 ecu and ali race fuel tank and swirl pot with after market efi pump, i need to get hold of a fuel pressure regulator ASAP (ideally tomorrow) any ideas?
just to add to previous post, it will lock and unlock fine, when locked the red light flashes, this stops and it becomes a solid light when you turn the ignition on, when trying to start the light stays solidly lit?
has anyone experienced problems with the immobiliser on the 172 phs 2, car has been off the road for the winter while i have been doing bits and pieces, i think there is a problem with the key sensor on the barrel (sorry dont actually know what its called) any ideas or ways to test?

it is best to get aux and cam belt kits, these come with tensioners etc, you will also need cam end seals and locking tools for the timing (cam, & TDC) if you speak to Renault they will give you a list of all that you need, i would personally stick to genuine parts.
I am just fitting ktr tb's to mine, I looked into different carb options, in my opinion, if you are building yourself, i would stick to a kit that has been developed and tested, other options are possible but with all the bits and pieces needed to get the kit to work i am not sure you will see...
the pipe feeds from the oil decanter on the top of the cam cover, if your oil gets real hot or is overfilled etc it will want to blow oil away from the engine, this pipe takes unwanted oil and feeds it through the air intake and is burnt off, not having the pipe is unlikely to effect...

having thought about what has been said regarding solder, surely if you use flux, decent soldier and enough heat you will not see any problems, if your engine is running at enough heat to melt solder I think you would have more of an issue there! also regarding solder in engine bay etc, the 172...
have contacted Ktec this morning waiting for Andy or Sean to get back to me, ideally was hoping to identify them to allow a neat solder and heat shrink rather than plugs, but a conversion loom may be the way to go!
cheers mates
sorry i may not have been clear, im am aware of the wires coming from the sensor, it is the wires on the OE plug that i am trying to connect to that i need to identify, there are 6 in total (3 for throttle and 3 for throttle potentiometer), renault have told me that wire number 1...
