I know that theres loads of places (usually brokers) where u can 182s for around £12k but are there any renault dealers who will match these prices and also give a good p/x deal?
I know this option has been available since Feb but has anyone physically sat on these seats yet installed on the Clio??
How do they compare to the std. seats??
Do they feel any lower and are they more supportive and comfortable??
Do you lose any more leg room in the back??
Ive seen some...
Just read the other Recaro threads.
If this option only comes with the cup rear bench which I assume will be black, does this mean that there are only 2 rear seatbelts instead of 3?
Got quoted £12300 with cup pack, spoilers and metallic last week for Jan delivery but cant remember which place. Its on my home e-mail
I also got a quote from newregcars for £12515
I read in Autocar recently that the new 182 Clio cup will have options to have Recaro seats, engine re-map, roll cage etc.... as Renaultsport options.
Has anyone heard anything on this???
Zymol cleaner wax sold in Halfords is not the same wax as the more expensive waxes. The cleaner wax is made by Turtle Wax under licence.
I use Zymol Vintage wax and must say its the best depth of shine that I have seen. I also have the Destiny wax which is also very good!!
Although some...
A few have said crap std. stereo??
I know the 172 Cup had a lower spec stereo but, thought that the 172 / 182 had a Hi-Fi upgrade to std clios??
A few have said too much roll on the 172, has thois been sorted on the 172 cup and 182 with cup chassis??
PS I know all you guys love your cars...
I am close to signing on the dotted line but would like to hear from all of you re. things you dont like re. your 172 / 182!!
e.g. driving position, too small, too stiff ride, high running costs etc....
Please be honest
Not sure about the 182 but 0-60 and 0-62 times can be significant if there is an extra gear change required!!
I remember when the saxo VTS came out where they purposely changed the gearing to the near identical Pug 106 GTi to get a quicker 0-60 time by 0.5s but unfortunately 0-60 seems to be...
The other way on the A1 weatherby area and its the 1st one Ive seen in the flesh!!
It looked great and it had the twin stripes too and I have to say it looks better in the flesh than any picture I have seen!!
Racing blue it is then, maybe with stripe even if I dare to be bold enough!! If I...
There has been an article on Optimax maybe a year back where they tested optimax on 3 different cars and showed before and after affects of the cleaning agent and it did work!! But it was a lengthy trial (a few weeks IIRC)!
They also did a in gear performance test on all 3 cars and they all...
Buying a Ferrari 348 or 355 is one thing - running them is another!!!!!
You may be able to pick these up for modest sums but its not the type of car you would have serviced at your back street garage as full Ferrari service history is a must!!! I would check this out before you part with your...
PS I purchased the sample kit that contained these 3 estate glazes so didnt pay those prices on the web site!
Like I said its normally for those with the paper stuff to burn!!!!!!! and they probably already own a fleet of Rolls, Bugattis, Ferraris, Lambos and clios - so a runabout maybe doesnt...
The likes of Motorpoint and Trade-sales do get UK cars that cant be shifted when over supply!! With th 182 out I think there maybe a few 172s that Renault UK couldnt shift easily!
I know that they were selling UK X-Type Jags when there was an over supply problem!
I use Zymol and its the best wax I have used for depth of shine!!!
Worth the money???? No IMHO!!! but I had to try the best!! I think value for money doesnt apply here! Remember that most people that spend £5K on wax are usually loaded and use them on cars which are worth millions!!! and to...
Theres one called Castrol TWS 10W60 which is thiew top range oil!
Its the only oil that BMW recommend for thier M Powered cars - otherwise the engine might blow up!!
I heard somewhere that Motorpoint cars are from Cyprus and not EU cars so PAN European warranty doesnt apply and they use a third party warranty company!
Not sure if this is true with clios?????
