is anybody know a timing angel for C&B cams on a 172? C&B is 286/280 one. my pulleys are standard but i can adjust the timing with a tool. If you can give me some advice on adjustable pulleys i will be happy

jc5 111 i think mate. as i know the suitabla gear boxes are:
087-089-111-129, A found scrapyard seller in ostim, as he told he have 7 or 8 JC5 gear boxes in his hand. he dont have any idea about the codes but we will go there and check it. If you find a good gearbox please let me know.

I am analysing my car with a software called Car Test and i found that the program computes gears/rpm vs speed different than what i see on the road.
I think my parameters are wrong. Can you tell me the gear ratios of the ph1 172?
The ratios i use in the program:
1-3,09
2-1,86...
i have cleaned the plenum when i inserting the cams. I will try the Chris's thermal gasket and make a isolatin to the plenum. if you say it is usual for clio's, there will be some power gain from the plenum.
If we can decrease it to 8 C when the outside temp is 2, there will be a 10 C gain. :eek:

I have borrowed RSTuner from Btaser2. I am starting to make some logs with it this morning. I see that my air inlet temperature is too high i think. Outside temp is 2C and IAT is 18C. I made a good short ram kit with isolation and get good performance i think but if the temp is so high...
